| As the QA Analyst you will be responsible for testing sophisticated highly scalable and multitiered trading applications This handson role will work on high performance infrastructure and client libraries This cross trained role involves both front end and back end testing Responsibilities include Develop and maintain test scripts and test cases for all applications and services released by development Work closely with current inhouse C++ library code base Work closely with developers to optimize testing process Identify and implement means of reducing testing cycles through automation Write new test scenarios to validateexercise our distributed server system Coordinate and build test harnesses and scripts for automated testing Discover and investigate reported software bugs Work with developers to identify testing needs for trading system Manage multiple testing projects and scheduling of testing efforts Candidate Qualifications 5+ Years of C++ in a Linux environment 5+ Years of testing financial trading systems 5+ Years working knowledgefamiliarity with Options trading pricing and riskrelated concepts(equity options or options futures) Solid understanding of electronic trading infrastructure incorporating realtime market data feeds order submission clients and dropcopies Ability to identify and implement test automation solutions on both frontend and backend systems for Options trading infrastructure Exceptional Python or Perl or ruby scripting skills Ability to troubleshoot problems at both the application and network layers Demonstrated proficiency working with multiple exchange specific messaging protocols Detailed oriented with strong analytical and problemsolving skills Experienced in developing test scripts and harnesses using Perl or Python or ruby Experience with Boost unit test is a plus Experienced with Multithreaded programming Proven track record in quality assurance working with large complex software applications with high performance scalability reliability demands Clear understanding of basic software development and testing processes Confident team player motivated by a fastpaced environment Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other technical field of study |
