| Acronym Media an Ad Age Top Ten Search Agency is hiring talented individuals with experience in interactive online marketing Headquartered on the 65th floor of the Empire State Building we have been building a solid reputation for excellence in KeywordDriven Marketing since 1995 Our continuous growth and expanding client list has created a number of career opportunities throughout the agency We are looking for a dedicated PHP Developer to join our Technology Development Team which builds supports and scales technology platforms and underlying infrastructures for high volume online service businesses Back End Responsibilities Contribute to the development of existing and new innovative online tools related to Search Marketing (SEO and SEM) Assist in database design and implementation Develop serverside code to create technology projects and features Assist in tracking down and debugging issues with frontend or serverside code written by other developers Work with a separate team of frontend developers to coordinate service communication Collaborate with team members to generate innovative solutions for clients Front End Responsibilities Contribute to the development of existing and new innovative online tools related to Search Marketing (SEO and SEM) Implement UI components based on supplied mockups Create JavaScript and jQuery widgets to support UI functionality Work with a separate team of serverside developers to integrate technology projects and features Collaborate with team members to generate innovative solutions for clients Qualifications 23 yearsrsquo experience developing webbased applications in LAMP stack 23 yearsrsquo experience developing webbased applications and UIrsquos Fluency in Object Oriented Programming and PHP5rsquos implementation of it Complete understanding of relational database concepts including JOIN statements and foreign key constraints Experience implementing thirdparty APIs Experience setting up maintaining and normalizing databases Fluency in Object Oriented Programming including the Symfony Framework Ability to write valid xHTML CSS SQL and JavaScript code Experience with frontend technologies and libraries such as Ajax and jQuery Ability to render design mockups into xHTMLCSS Additional qualifications required Experience developing in MVC environments Experience with application scaling techniques particularly partitioning and sharding of MySQL databases HTML5 CSS3 Experience working with objectoriented JavaScript Knowledge of SEO tactics Knowledge of how paid search campaigns work Interested candidates should submit a resume and samples of code they have written on the SQL level (specifically complex query code) Please also provide your annual salary requirements Telecommuting from NY OR MA NC OK MO FLA IL TX WA CO ok We look forward to hearing from you |
