Job Description
| Provide Vision Solutionsrsquo employees and external customers with constant availability of the network and IP telephony systems This position will provide hands on installation and problem solving of the Cisco network and VoIP systems Design and implement IP telephony solutions using Cisco VoIP including Communication Manager and Unity Responsibilities Perform analytical technical and administrative work in the planning design installation documentation and administration of all network and telecommunication systems Configure LANWAN communication devices including Cisco routers VPNs and firewall applications Monitor network traffic and analyze problems Manage network health monitoring and notification tools and make recommendations for upgrades or new system requirements Maintain an inventory of IT network and desktop assets Monitor ongoing security threats and develop preventative measures to mitigate corporate security exposure Qualifications College degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred Five yearsrsquo experience supporting a multisite network Hands on experience implementing Ciscorsquos VoIP technology including Communication Manager Unity Meeting Place Express CCNA preferred Interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to be assertive diplomatic and tactful with a diverse population group Collaboration skills with the ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment Project management skills with the ability to drive new projects set and meet target dates and organize and prioritize tasks Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare company wide communications including presentations Advanced knowledge and handson experience in Cisco networking including LANWAN and MPLS in a multisite architecture Handson experience implementing CISCO routers firewalls and VPN technology UCCX a plus Vision Solutions in an Equal Opportunity Employer |
