| The Person loanDepot the OC Registers 3rd ranked Top Workplaces in Orange County is searching for a Data Warehouse Engineer to add to the team We are searching for a candidate with a deep background in Business Intelligence technology this candidate must be a problem solver who can take on the design and implementation of various processes and who understands the needs of a growing business You will be involved in all phases of data warehousing from concept to completion We currently use the full Microsoft SQL Server stack and will be adding additional tools as needed The Culture loanDepot is a rapidly growing national consumer direct online company providing mortgage services loanDepot is looking for a professional Data Warehousing Engineer that shares the entrepreneurial spirit and is interested in a long term career opportunity We work hard but have fun while doing it loanDepot offers a casual dress code employee appreciation days company and department sponsored lunches and many other perks Come join the loanDepot team The Work Design and implement parts of the data warehouse data model Design and implement ETL flows for the data warehouse Design implement and deliver reports based on business requirements Design and implement an OLAP Cube database and build reports using MDX Understand the source systems and source data in detail and become a SME on them QA any work done by self and other team members Document all of the design and development artifacts Troubleshoot and support all BI related production processing Understand the current reporting environment and use that knowledge to continuosly improve the enterprise data warehouse The Experience BSBA (or equivalent) in computer science or equivalent discipline 4+ years experience in the design development and testing of Data Warehouse implementations 4+ years of experience with SQL and Relational Databases 5+ years of overall software industry experience Working knowledge of MS SQL Server 2008 Extensive knowledge of dimensional modeling and experience with it on at least 2 large projects Experience with ETL tools (SSIS) Experience with reporting tools (OLAP) (SSAS) Ability to communicate and work with both technical and nontechnical team memebers Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication team work and issue resolution Problem solving mindset the indvidual should be highly motivated and selfdirected Strong experience with MS BI Stack (SSIS SSAS SSRS) is preferred |
