| FierceMarkets an online media company in Washington DC is looking for an experienced web developer and general technologist to join our growing team The ideal person for this job enjoys filling multiple technology roles while supporting the needs of internal and external customers In short you love making technology work for the betterment of the whole organization You have 3+ years experience working in PHP with and without frameworks You are knowledgeable of SQL and have experience writing queries to pull data from a variety of data sources including flat files and MySQL You understand the DOM and event based scripting You have heard of or worked within agile development environments In this role you will be expected to be proficient in PHP semantic markup CSS JavaScript and SQL Experience with Drupal SOLR GIT JQuery and server administrationscalability are all strong pluses but not required We are looking for a smart pragmatic fast learning personable and hard working individual with a strong desire to make themselves and the things they work on better Your initial compensation will be based on your experience level Salary will range from 55k to 80k based on experience and other factors This role requires you to be on location at our office in downtown Washington DC At this time we are not accepting resumes through recruiters or agencies Please send resumes with a cover letter to carsonfiercemarketscom mailtocarsonfiercemarketscom Please include how many years of professional experience you have with PHP and with Drupal specifically |
