| Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following Gather business reporting requirements for various business departments Write and tune Sybase IQ queries and stored procedures for complex business reporting Use BI reporting tool to create advanced reportsdashboards for various user groups Knowledge of general datawarehouse principles and concepts is required Gather business requirements and apply them into logical and physical database models Create report design specifications Experience with a reporting tool (Microstrategy a plus) Effectively interact with various teams within the firm Candidate Qualifications Strong analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills 5yrs of querystored procedure writing skills in Sybase IQ (preferably 15x version) Data warehousing experience VLDB reportquery writing tuning and optimization skills (Sybase IQ) Scripting experience Knowledge of a BI reporting tool preferably Microstrategy ndash developerreporting Financial experience a plus Demonstrate knowledge of technical and data architecture concepts and their implementation Strong interpersonal and communication skills positive personality to effectively conduct team work Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of management and project teams (verbally and in writing) Manage multiple deliverables in a fast paced environment BSMS in Computer Science or related field |
