| Gabriel Co a private jewelry designer and distributor located in Midtown is currently seeking an experienced web guru to join their team as a Senior Webmaster who will be responsible for developing designing and maintaining the companyrsquos website and intranet In line with goals and targets set by management this position will ensure the image of the brand by increasing exposure to our customers through technology and accessibility Responsibilities Partnering with Marketing on web design materials and functionality Receiving requests and projects and reviewing them with upper management Prioritizing web site projects and integrating enhancements into the web site Testing new functions and implementing security measures Analyzing feedback from Marketing and reviewing change requests with upper management Ensuring website integrates with ERP system and training employees on functionality Monitoring and evaluating website traffic Periodically reviewing website applications and recommending changes as needed Developing and managing company intranet system Troubleshooting website and intranet problems Storing and responding to other departmentsrsquo queries on documentation of or information on hardware programs and procedures Performing special duties as assigned Requirements Education Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience Experience At least 510 years experience with web development design and project management Computer Skills 6+ LAMP experience Linux Administration Apache Administration PHP 5 advanced development experience with knowledge of MVC design pattern MySQL experience with extensive knowledge of optimizing and normalizing data (when possible) for high availability 6+ years Advanced JavaScript experience with extensive knowledge of jQuery 4+ years Microsoft SQL experience 6+ years HTML experience with knowledge of HTML5 6+ years CSS experience 6+ years Photoshop Experience with knowledge of Photoshop scripting (not Actions scripting) 1+ years Git experience Experience with Imagemagick Adobe Media Encoder andor HandBrakeCLI a plus Other Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of interaction with internal and report writing Organization and Time Management skills Demonstrate an ability to thrive in a highly visible fast paced environment managing multiple conflicting priorities Strong quantitative and analytical problem solving skills Ability to meet strict deadlines About Us Gabriel Co is proud to maintain a reputation as an independent jewelry designer and manufacturer Established in 1989 in New York City with a small team of dedicated employees Gabriel Co has grown into a worldrenowned presence in the Jewelry industry With an extensive line of heirloom pieces displaying fashion forward designs our merchandise embodies meticulous artistry perfect for each occasion and all of lifersquos milestones Our design team registers the spectrum of needs into the creation of each piece Meticulous attention to detail is then given to develop each line to exceed the demands of our audience However you donrsquot have to take our word for it we invite you to begin your experience with Gabriel Co Please email your resume (in word document format) along with a cover letter and salary requirements NOTE ONLY CANDIDATES WHO LIST THEIR CURRENT SALARY ANDOR SALARY REQUIREMENTS WILL BE CONTACTED FOR THE POSITION |
