Network Technician We have an opening for a Network Technician who will provide proactive and extensible solutions to ensure a stable network infrastructure for JSA and our customers The applicant will provide handson server and network configuration and support They will review and further document networking components and connections The applicant will have the responsibility for ensuring active networks and servers are secure and fully accessible to properly authenticated users The applicant will also provide network administration operations and perform maintenance requests as well as help to implement system policy Requirements HS diploma or equivalent Bachelors degree in a related field preferred 4+ years work experience in information systems and network architecture and support 12 years of Windows network systems experience (certification preferred) Comprehensive knowledge of TCPIP including firewall configuration and maintenance Comprehensive knowledge of the Internet HTTP SMTP POP IMAP and related protocols Ability to demonstrate the installation configuration and troubleshooting of complex TCPIP networks including routers switches and firewalls Ability to demonstrate the configuration troubleshooting and repairing of all networks including Microsoft (MS) networks and TCPIP networking components such as Cisco routers and switches Experience working with colocations and hosted networks Knowledge of MS Server 20032008 MS SQL Server 20002005 IIS 67 Experience with setup maintenance and repair of workstations and servers Experience with VMware and virtual environment configurations preferred Knowledge and experience working with Apache and Tomcat preferred Travel required 50 Must be able to convey a professional attitude on conference site Excellent communication and customer service skills Must be able to work independently and have a strong work ethic Association or trade show background preferred We offer excellent benefits and a casual work environment Please fax resume with salary requirement to 7038189177 Attn HR or email jsajobsjspargocom You may also visit our website at wwwjspargocom to view other current job openings
