| Summary The programmeranalyst is responsible for or assists in the analysis design programming testing documentation end user training and management of information technology solutions of business needs as identified by management SkillsAbilities Must be able to work with end users other IT professionals and management in a positive and meaningful way Must be able to gather user requirements integrated with business needs form a strategy that will work in our environment and then build and maintain it Experinece VBNet programming experience in an industrial environment Experience programming SQL Server databases Experience using Sharepoint and SQL Server reporting services Education Minimum of a bachelorrsquos degree in information technologies computer science business administration or related areas or equivalent work experience Holders of professional certifications such as MCSE MCSD and MCAD will be given preference PhysicalMental Demands Good physical and mental health sound judgment and high moral standards and a sincere desire to work with individuals from varied backgrounds Duties and Responsibilities Identify and document end user requirements and expectations of information technology systems to meet business needs as assigned by management Design and document these systems keeping end users and management involved in the process Program systems as directed by management The individual will include internal documentation in any programming they do End users will be shown work in process for their comments and signoffs Manage projects as assigned by management Be prepared to present systems design and code at internal systems and code review sessions Assist in testing and code reviews of systems currently being worked on within the department Write technical documentation for systems being worked on Write or assist to write user documentation for systems Train or assist to train system end users Provide end user support as necessary and as directed by management Stay current with the developments within the information technology field This will include both formal training on or off site and reading current technical articles and books Obtaining appropriate professional certifications such as MCSE MCSD or MCAD will be expected and rewarded Assist as directed with system administration duties including departmental off hours support Attend departmental andor group meetings as directed Perform any other tasks assigned by management About us Furmanos roots run deep in the heart of Pennsylvanias rich fertile farmland Since 1921 familyowned Furmanos has produced delicious wholesome foods Still guided by the original values that made the Furmanos name synonymous with the quality the care and dedication with which our products are sourced and processed grows with each generation Furmanos heritage of excellence is evident in our stewardship of the land as well as the products we produce Using environmentally friendly techniques Furmanos harvests tomatoes at the peak of their color flavor and freshness preserving natures abundance for you Visit us at wwwfurmanoscom httpwwwfurmanoscom |
