| Bring your Linux and MS SQL experience to our team you will be glad you did We are currently seeking an experienced LAMP (Linux Red Hat) Administrator to join our Seattle IT team This is a key role for the ongoing support of one of our internal applications all servers hosted in the Seattle data center and local IT support hosted in the Las Vegas data center Duties and Responsibilities Createdisable users system performance monitoringmonitoring and alerting of failed services troubleshooting failed services for all Linux based servers and applications MySQL administration including monthly restore for reporting Work with development team on performance issues and code promotions Manage backup and recovery of all systems located in the Seattle Data Center Manage Virtualization environment including P2V of failingold hardware Administering ZFS NAS storage systems for virtual infrastructure Development of scriptsautomation for infrastructure and for custom monitoring of specific services as needed Development of web selfservice sites for automation of common tasks as needed Onsite server desktop network support as needed Qualifications Bachelorrsquos Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Redhat Certified Systems certification (RHCSA RHCT or RHCE) 3+ years in Linux server experience as a primary systems administrator Strong background (35 years) in scripting bash PHP Python MySQL Administration tuning backup and recovery of large database deployments 23 years experience in supporting Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or higher including Active Directory DNS and DFS NagiosMunin administration Bacula BackupPC recoverybackup administration Experience with LAMP deployment This is a fulltime salaried position Zenith American offers competitive pay and benefits including 401(k) with match PTO (Paid Time Off) casual dress and more Send resume and cover letter by clicking on the Click Here to Apply button on this page or fax to (206) 2163486 Visit us at wwwzenithamericancom We are an equal opportunity employer Zenith American Solutions (recently formed by the merger of Zenith Administrators and American Benefit Plan Administrators) is a premier national thirdparty administrator (TPA) for employee benefit plans We serve as administrator manager or technology service vendor for corporate employers government entities trade associations and TaftHartley benefit trust funds through our national network of service centers We currently have 1200+ employees located in 36 offices across the nation We combine technology and proven practices with national resources and a local presence for our clients Come and find out about the great things going on at Zenith American |
