
The National Advisory HR practice focuses on HR Operations, HR Programs and Reporting.
Delivering the PwC experience to our clients is about offering flexibility and versatility to our client service staff, enabling them to become well-rounded business advisors. In order to deliver this experience, the HR Demand Management (DM) team identifies and matches resources with the appropriate opportunities, striving to provide challenging assignments and potential for their personal growth, while maintaining balance with the need of our clients and the Advisory business. Position/Program Requirements Knowledge Preferred: Demonstrates extensive functional knowledge of, and/or a proven success with serving in a role supervising, training and coaching HR DM generalists, emphasizing the demonstration of the following: -Providing subject matter expertise to team related to deployment, demand, capacity and utilization forecasting; participating and leading weekly discussions with Industry team leadership to focus on the broader business needs. -Collaborating and driving shared programs with the Talent Management team on headcount planning and budgets; on-boarding and assimilation; diversity development and mobilization; and tour-of-duty and/or leadership programs. -Participating in formalized review processed for large engagements, including collaborating with Industry team leaders and Partners to identify opportunities that require review and participate in various review stages of the proposal process. -Driving and participating in special projects, (i.e., skills tracking, enhancements to technology and processes and reporting) -Identifying gaps in availability and skills that are needed to fulfill client commitments and escalate to Industry team and/or DM leadership -Seeking approval for the usage of alternative staffing.
A demonstrated proven record of engaging in professional roles within a professional services industry and/or related Advisory lines of service and/or support service areas, or large corporate environment, are preferred.
Skills Preferred: Demonstrates extensive and/or a proven record of success with performing in a role leveraging and utilizing Firm-issued applications to manage Human Resources functions (i.e. internal forecasting tools, SalesForce, PeopleSoft, Source 1, SAP, and Lotus Notes),
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success with performing in a role that emphasizes leading human resources teams and initiatives, including the following: -Collaborating with leaders and managers, including developing strategy; as well as writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently; to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management. This includes extensive emphases on negotiating; forming objective, fact-based opinions to influence and guide Industry team leadership around deployment decisions. -Verifying staffing demand forecasts are adjusted to correspond with associated talent pipelines. -Collecting preliminary team framework and tracking opportunities from proposed to sold statuses. -Managing temporary assignments for client service staff that are not utilized, (e.g., business development, white papers, POVs). -Analyzing and synthesizing reporting, determining actionable items and developing and executing action plans (e.g. resource availability, unfulfilled demand and utilization). -Driving quarterly discussions concerning resources that have been difficult to staff and/or demonstrated performance/skill deficiencies, including providing Partners and HR with fact-based information to manage client risk and support remediation. -Managing on-boarding and assimilation of new talent. -Leveraging an understanding of the qualifications, credentials, and development needs of the client service staff within the Industry group. -Analyzing staff utilization to avoid under/over utilization of staff, proactively seeking opportunities outside of the Industry group for those who are underutilized.
Demonstrates extensive ability in managing multiple work-streams; excelling within a fast-paced, evolving environment that emphasizes working effectively within tight deadlines; and utilizing analytical skills through troubleshooting and evaluating of various systems and tools, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint,
