| Position Title EDI Specialist Department Information Technology Classification Nonexempt Status Fulltime Location Salt Lake City UT Reports to IT Systems Administrator Position Summary Develops and implements an EDI strategy to support organizational initiatives Manages and leads the EDI project including documentation quality assurance implementation support and workflow management Responsibilities Implement and monitor EDI systems including data mapping translation and interface Coordinate relations with and serves as a liaison to internal users vendors and other external partners with respect to data interchange standards Performs EDI system testing and quality control checks Develops and maintains EDI documentation Handles processing monitoring and exception handling of EDI transactions Provides resolution resubmissions and root cause analysis of EDI rejections Review and analyze acknowledgment and custom reports to identify transaction rejection trends Review and analyze internal transaction processing information for each transaction Performs software configuration tuning and EDI partner prototyping setup development configurations and processes for File transports and format mapping Performs EDI daily support and projects prototype data transfers using various methods including but not limited to EDI XML ODBC FTP SFTP and general network file transfers Analyze EDI and data integrationtransformation requirements from trading partners and develops processes to fulfill these requirements utilizing existing applications utilities and tool sets Project managementlead of setup and integration with retailers vendors and other trading partners including coordinating and meeting with both internal and external resources Regular consistent and punctual attendance Other duties as assigned ExperienceQualificationsSkills Requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area Solid background in information systems technology and working knowledge of data communication protocols Requires knowledge of EDI trading partner management including enveloping trading partner profiles and certificates EDI mapping including 850 860 855 and 856 transactions Must be detailoriented possess excellent problemsolving skills and able to work independently Able to prioritize and effective time management skills Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts practices and procedures Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals The physical requirements are common with those associated with a general office environment including standing and walking sitting for extended periods of time answer phone calls keyboarding bending and lifting up to 25 lbs ZAGG offers competitive compensation an attractive benefits package an onsite Fitness Facility as well as a highly energized and fun work environment If you are dynamic driven and have what it takes to join our exciting team please submit a current resume to HRzaggcom mailtoHRzaggcom and include the job title in the subject line |
