| Internal Job Title Security Analyst Posted Job Title Security Analyst Number of Positions 1 City Washington StateProvince DC Country US Postal Code 20002 Per Diem Included No Salary Type Yearly Salary Currency USD Salary Minimum 8000000 Salary Maximum 9000000 Department IA Services (124) Job Type FullTimeRegular Job Duration RegularAtWill Job Level of Education Bachelorsrsquo of Science required preferred to be in a technical discipline (Computer Science Information Systems Information Technology) Years Of Experience 35 years experience Job Description The ideal candidate will support multiple aspects of NISTDoD Risk Management processes for the customer Including Provide advice and guidance to DHS HQs organizations and components on implementing the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the DoD or CNSS 1253 risk management processes Administer provide helpdesk support and train DHS personnel on the use of Xacta IA Manager and Xacta Flux Provide advice and guidance on the vulnerabilities and risks associated with results from various vulnerability scanners and security configuration checking tools run against DHS systems Perform analysis and assessment of risk for not providing appropriate security controls for DHS systems Provide advice and guidance on complying with DHS security authorization processes and meeting yearly DHS performance goals for improving the security of DHS systems Review and recommend changes to DHS security policies processes and procedures based on evolving Federal and National guidance and regulations Be a subject matter expert in the security authorization processes for DHS and the use of Xacta IA Manager and Xacta Flux to support and implement those processes This position will be based in Washington DC Required Skills Qualifications Experience in training or performing product demonstrations is preferred An active Secret Clearance is required A Bachelorrsquos Degree is required preferably in Computer Science Information Systems Information Technology or a closely related discipline Experience with NIST RMF DoD DIACAP or CNSS 1253 processes is required US citizenship required Application administration experience desired eg troubleshooting and managing applications and their interaction with backend databases Experience using automated tools for vulnerability assessments and supporting security authorization processes is preferred We offer excellent compensation packages including salary commensurate with experience and benefits to meet your needs for today and the future EOEAA |
