Spam Soap Support Engineer Company Description Spam Soap is a premier messaging solutions provider The Company provides Email filtering continuity archiving and hosting solutions to businesses worldwide Spam Soap is a division of inhouseIT a leading managed services provider in Orange County California Spam Soap began in 2002 and is a pioneer in MX recordbased Email Filtering The Company has continued to evolve and now offers an entire suite of messaging solutions Spam Soap values their reputation in the MSP community as a knowledgeable channel friendly easy to do business with company To learn more about how Spam Soap helps businesses grow please visit us at httpwwwspamsoapcom Job Description Spam Soap is looking for a superstar Email Support Engineer In the role the candidate will support our client base assisting clients with all of our Email service offerings These offerings included Email Filtering Message Continuity Email Archiving and Email Hosting Support is performed from our offices via Phone Email and IM The candidate will participate in weekly meetings to address technology and support issues The candidate will also be responsible to build support documents and maintain the support section of our web site Client support includes provisioning setup and post support Candidate will also participate in our afterhours client support rotation Person were looking for Were looking for someone with a strong background in Email Prior experience as a Postmaster andor experience in supporting Email platforms specifically Microsoft Exchange or Sendmail a must Candidate should understand SMTP and the associated administration support and troubleshooting of the protocol Spam Soap is known for our excellent customer support Candidate must be friendly and a good communicator If youre a selfstarter and like a challenge Spam Soap may be the place for you Qualifications and Requirements 35 years prior experience in a related support position Experience providing 100 remote support Experience with provisioning and supporting Hosted Exchange Thorough understanding of SMTP and related error codes and troubleshooting Must know how to use Telnet to test for open relays and general troubleshooting Experience with Email platforms including MS Exchange Sendmail Qmail and Postfix Knowledge of TCPIP DNS and related tools for troubleshooting Knowledge of Email hardware and software solutions Excellent oral and written communications skills Strong work ethic cando attitude and the ability to follow through Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience MSCE or Exchange Certification
