| Company Overview SC Data Center Inc is an affiliate company of Colony Brands Inc You may know us as Americarsquos premier mailorder cheese company Swiss Colony founded in 1926 by Ray Kubly What we are today is one of the worldrsquos largest and most successful food and nonfood catalog companies and to keep our business growing we need you From brand managers to accountants pastry chefs to IT experts lab technicians to clothing buyer we offer exciting opportunities to skilled and motivated individuals We are a family owned company who provides many means of support to the communities and the families that live here We are not just about growing our profits we are about giving our employees the opportunity for growth and providing a better place to live and work We also offer our regular fulltime employees these great benefits A variety of healthcare options along with 401K pension plan wellness educational reimbursement company profit sharing and much more Seven unique fourday work weeks in the summer months which give employees additional time off above and beyond the normal paid time off (PTO) hours Located in Monroe WI we offer the joys of small town life with the cities of Madison Milwaukee and Chicago nearby General Description Serves as the liaison between the business units and technology teams (Mainframe Internet and Distributed systems) Analyzes the business objectives of the stakeholder and develops solutions to their business issues Identifies analyzes and documents business requirements and delivers work products throughout the project life cycle Aids stakeholders in developing their strategic goals Specific Responsibilities Interprets customer business needs and translates them into application and operational requirements Elicits business requirements through interviews document analysis requirements workshops surveys site visits business analysis and task and workflow analysis Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources Reconciles conflicts Decomposes highlevel information into details Abstracts up from lowlevel information to a general understanding Distinguishes user requests from the underlying true needs Communicates and collaborates proactively with internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed Functional requirements (Business Requirements Document) Use Cases GUI or CICS Screen Design Interface Designs Test Plans Engages in multiple initiatives simultaneously Works independently and with project managers to define concepts with users Drives and challenges business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans Develops requirements specifications according to standard templates using natural language Collaborates with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs Liaison between the business units technology teams and support teams Maintains good housekeeping of work area Performs any duties as assigned by the Director of Systems and Programming Performs all assigned tasks in a safe manner according to company policy Job Requirements A degree in Computer Science or related field (Associates degree required Bachelorrsquos degree preferred) plus 4 or more years experience Specific expertise in Business and Process analysis Expertise analyzing and designing systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong planning organization and project management skills Proven facilitation and negotiation skills demonstrated in a lead by influence role Experience with CICS and COBOL a plus We provide a competitive benefit and salary package Join an established family owned and employee oriented company that continues to focus on growth A preemployment drug screening and criminal background search is required for this position EOE MFDVH |
