| The candidate will be a technical contributor in a small RF engineering team for RD prototyping projects specifically related to RFIC The position involves contribution to specification design implementation and verification of prototypes for wireless and other RD projects Essential duties and responsibilities Position will be responsible to the definition of RF architecture of communication systems Create and define RFmicrowavemixedsignal IC architecture and test plans Develop RFmicrowavemixedsignal ICs from concept to circuit designsimulation and layout Coordinate RFmicrowavemixedsignal IC prototyping Verify and evaluate prototype IC Responsible for Antenna design simulation and measurement RF Board design prototyping and verification Conduct Electromagnetic wave simulation Majority of the responsibility (80) is expected to be in RFIC design and the rest is 20 Minimum Qualifications MSEE required PhD in EE desired Minimum 5 years of industry experience Strong experience in RFMMmixedsignal IC design including IC design tools and simulators IC layout design techniques and verification methodologies Strong design experience in RFmixedsignal circuits st LNAs PAs mixers filters PLLs baseband analog circuits and ADCDACs Design simulation and measurement for antennas and matching circuitry Handson experience using quasistatic and full wave EM field solvers such as CST Strong prototyping and test capability including schematic capture PWB layout and fabrication Strong written and verbal communication skills Selfmotivated Expertise in ultralow power RFmixedsignal design st RF in CMOS About the company Established in January 2005 in San Diego California Olympus Communication Technology of America Inc (OlympusCTA) a subsidiary of Olympus Corporation is an RD center dedicated to creating cuttingedge wireless and networking solutions for Olympus Corporation products Olympus products are quite varied but most prominently focused on consumer electronics and medical systems Our efforts are geared towards producing a variety of technologies some standardsbased and others proprietary We are dedicated to the development of innovative solutions with lowpower low cost highthroughput and easytouse attributes |
