| We are an international law firm headquartered in New Yorkseeking a Security Manager to become an integral part of an Information Services department within an Amlaw 20 firm This role works within and across IS teams including Operations Desktop Engineering and User Support to ensure the overall security of firm data and systems in all offices This position reports to the Director of Global Technology RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to Works to develop and maintain a comprehensive data security plan Develops documents and maintains IS security policies and procedures Assists in the acquisition and deployment of security tools Assists in defining IS policies for administration of all computer security systems and associated software Conducts periodic IS compliance audits Coordinates periodic vulnerability and penetration testing with outside providers Coordinates responses to client security audits and RFPs Develops and manages IS security incident response plan Leads incident response for any IT related security incident Develops and implements Security Awareness Training programs Performs other related duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate possesses a strong ability to work individually on smaller projects and be part of a project team on larger initiatives Heshe must have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with technical and nontechnical staff at all levels Must be willing to learn and adapt to technologies outside of current skill set Bachelors degree Minimum of five years relevant experience in information security network administration incident response or IT operations role Knowledge and experience with Windows VMWare Microsoft SQL Web application servers and LANWAN infrastructure Experience in some or all of the following areas Server and workstation security network vulnerability assessment Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems Security Incident and Event Management Clientendpoint security Identity Management malwareantivirus detectionprevention solutions and log aggregation tools Exceptional analytical strong problem solving and decisionmaking skills Ability to coordinate efforts and deliver results working with individuals of diverse technical responsibilities and reporting lines Selfstarter with ability to accept responsibility for projects and see them through to completion Flexibility to adjust responsibilities and hours to meet firm or client requirements PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with law firms Experience with 10002000 user environment CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or other desired To APPLY Please mention where you saw this position posted when applying Send resume and salary historyrequirements to AprylStevensonHolden Human Resources Generalist aestevendebevoisecom |
