| Company ApolloMD is a privately held physician practice headquartered in Atlanta GA that specializes in providing Emergency Medicine Anesthesia and Radiology Services to hospitals nationwide Since its inception from a sleepy Emergency Room in Cobb County Georgia nearly thirty years ago to its current position of being the 4th largest and fastest growing company in its industry ApolloMD has held firm to the principles that are the foundation of its success Read more about us at httpwwwapollomdcomaboutushtml httpwwwapollomdcomaboutushtml Job Requirements ApolloMD is seeking an experienced technical data analyst with strong SQL skills who can provide technical operational reporting and analytical support for the billing team This is a very technical individual contributor role requiring initiative independence and persistence an ability to work in a dynamic environment supporting lots of internal customers and an ability to perform a wide variety of duties As a technical specialist you will provide critical business reporting of metrics and perform ad hoc queries for information You will also provide technical customer service to the billing team Primary Responsibilities Writing SQL queries to create enduser reports and perform datamining Producing reports using Excel Cognos and SQL Server Reporting Services Perform data scrubbing quality checking and usability analysis to identify anomalies which need to be addressed prior to delivery of analytic results Be the primary technical and functional support person to field incoming problem tickets from end users to resolve billingrelated application and software issues within a Windows and UNIX environment Perform handson fixes at the desktop level and billing application level including installing and upgrading software hardware implementing file backups and configuring systems and applications Become a subject matter data expert in the billing system Essential Qualifications Experience working as an analyst in the health care industry particularly with administrative healthcare claims and provider data Expertise in developing complex legible and wellstructured scripts queries and stored procedures in SQL Experience in data mining and analytic data transformation Experience working with large data repositories andor relational databases Experience using database programs spreadsheets and word processing including all components of MS Office Expertise in MS Excel with proficiency using formulas PivotTables linked worksheets graphing and other reporting and presentation features Advanced analytic skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data through complex analysis Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision Bachelorrsquos degree in Computer Science or related field Experience working with SQL Server Reporting Services including Report Builder Strong knowledge of SQL Server database structures and SQL programming Excellent computer skills strong leadership qualities organization and project management skills Important Qualifications Ability to quickly adapt to changes in both technology and business environments Ability to analyze data and apply investigative skills in resolving issues Ability to analyze and interpret data through complex analysis Ability to provide responsive functional and technical support to a diverse population of users Ability to produce clear written operational instructions and supporting documentation Ability to troubleshoot technical and functional problems Technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems Ability to conduct training as needed Strong customer service and cando attitude Highly selfmotivated and directed with keen attention to detail Relevant technical certifications Preferred Skills Experience analyzing raw medical claims and provider data Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and security requirements as it relates to healthcare data Experience working as an analyst in the health care industry particularly with administrative healthcare claims and provider dataExperience with IDX Groupcast GE Centricity Experience with IDX Analyzer Cognos Experience with AIX operating system Experience with EDI clearinghouses and general EDI claim knowledge Familiarity with the AR and revenue billing lifecycle Compensation Compensation will be commensurate with experience Please include previous and desired salary in your application ApolloMD is an Equal Opportunity Employer Please visit our website at wwwapollomdcom httpwwwapollomdcom |
