| Description Plans, budgets, staffs and manages multiple BI projects and teams. Managing BI/Hadoop consultants broad based responsibilities have a direct impact on company growth. Interprets and defines complex business problems into technical solutions. Maintains solid understanding of implementation methodology. Escalates client requests that are out of scope. Plans and manages moderate-sized or multiple small-sized projects and client relationships to achieve milestones, reporting standards, and budgetary requirements. Works with accounting to manage revenue realization. Communicates risks, issues, and status of resolution to management. Motivates staff and creates team cohesion. Participates in the interviewing process. Conducts project reviews. Qualifications Excellent oral and written communication skills including writing proposals, project plans, specifications, status reports, etc. Solid client liaison skills. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field with 7+ year's experience. MBA or preferred but not required. Demonstrated track record of contributing successfully to the delivery of moderate-sized projects. Excellent understanding of technology and the full suite of the company's technologies. Engagement Management The individual will take a lead role in managing engagements once agreements have been signed. This will include managing resources, project timelines and budgets, and regular client status meetings and other communications. User Interface team leadership You will be responsible for providing technical and career leadership to a group of user interface specialists. The user interface is the face of the Business Intelligence project. You will make sure that the requirements, as signed off on by the client, are faithfully fulfilled in a timely manner. In addition, you will be the career advisor for our user interface specialists providing regular feedback and mentoring to help them reach their career goals. Growth A major focus for this position will be growing the group through sales and marketing efforts. You will work with the marketing group to increase exposure of our services building a pipeline of opportunities. You will work this pipeline with the assistance of the other members of the Business Intelligence team as needed to refine and close sales opportunities. |
