Job Description
| Citrix experience required Summary Installs upgrades and supports all server and LAN operating systems application products and server hardware Provides second and third level technical support for PC and network Customer Support calls requiring escalation Performs server capacity and performance analysis and optimizes servers based on results Position Responsibilities Installs and maintains server hardware network operating systems and application products Coordinates and performs upgrades to server hardware network operating systems databases and server based applications Monitors and tunes LAN based systems to maximize performance reliability and security Maintains documentation including but not limited to server hardware software network operating systems server based applications and configurations Support Customer Support Center and Technicians with projects and daily problem resolution Supports Server Analysts with their projects and tasks Provides afterhours support as required Coordinates medium to large projects and facilitates appropriate resources Adheres to IS Business Practices and Project Methodology Plans documents coordinates and performs disaster recovery testing to ensure integrity and recoverability of all LAN based hardware software and data Adheres to IS Business Practices and available for 247 support as needed Position Qualifications Required Experience Required Three to five years experience in Microsoft Server systemnetwork administration required Certification in at least one Microsoft Server Grade Product required Minimum two years of Microsoft Exchange Server Administration experience preferred Minimum two years of VMWare Administration experience preferred Minimum two years Microsoft SQL Server Administration experience preferred Knowledge of Citrix required MS Certifications preferred Required Education Undergraduate degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related area or equivalent experience |
