Job Description We are looking for a Sr. Java Developer to work in Miami area. This is a contract to hire position. Candidates will start out as contractors with the possibility of converting into a full-time based on the performance. - Minimum of 7 years experience in system development in Java is required - Knowledge of Java SDK, web service protocol stack, RESTful API design and implementation using XML, JSON is required - Previous experience of deploying large enterprise application in Amazon EC2 / S3 environment - Previous experience of designing and developing RESTful API / webservices - Minimum of 3-5 years experience using MS SQL Server - We are working on an Agile SCRUM model. Previous experience of managing or leading a project using SCRUM model is a plus. - Previous experience of working with geographically distributed teams is a plus. - Mongodb experience is a plus. - Previous experience of deploying a large enterprise application is a plus. - We are using Scala for API / Webservices. Willingness or previous experience to learn Scala is a plus. This is an onsite position. Candidates have to work from our Miami office.
