Eze Castle Software ("Eze") is currently seeking a Business Consultant to join our core consulting team in New York. Eze is a leading investment technology company with locations throughout the U.S., and in London, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Singapore. The Eze OMS™, our award-winning order management system (OMS), has been a market leader of investment technology since its launch in 1995. It is used by over 400 investment managers to streamline their investment process.
Eze is a member of ConvergEx Group, a leading client-focused technology company providing products and services to asset managers and financial intermediaries globally. ConvergEx has offices in 22 cities throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa.
Business Consultants are responsible for implementing the Eze OMS and managing the company's client relationships, comprised of top hedge funds and other investment firms. Each Consultant will interact on a daily basis with Portfolio Managers, Traders, CFOs and CTOs, and Operations and IT support. Our philosophy is to be a partner - not a vendor - and our goal is to ensure we continue to streamline and enhance the investment process as a client's business needs evolve. Most client sites are local and travel will be minimal (
Job Functions:
- Gather and document business requirements and analysis, system configuration and integration, and user workflow training
- Provide project management services on client projects including, but not limited to, implementations and upgrades.
- Will be expected to lead multiple projects across multiple clients at any given time.
- Provide tier-1 support of the Eze product suite, and coordinate with Eze tier-2 support teams as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Analytical thinking and problem solving abilities and ability to manage multiple projects and client expectations
- Effective communication and relationship building skills
- A programming background is not required, but the aptitude and desire to learn our software and new technologies is important
- Active interest in understanding the financial markets and the investment process will be important
- Experience with databases and SQL is a plus
