| Rockwood Pigments a business unit of Rockwood Specialties Inc and leading global developer and manufacturer of specialty chemical products has an opening for an IT Business Analyst This position is located in East St Louis IL Rockwood Pigments is a primary manufacturer and processor of liquid powder and granulated forms of iron oxide and supplies a wide range of other inorganic pigments used by manufacturers of coatings and colorants concrete products plastics rubber paper vinyl cosmetics pet food ink toner and industrial uses Please see our website at wwwrpigmentscom httpwwwrpigmentscom for more information about our company Essential Functions and Duties Analyze recommend and perform system support and design changes to improve the quality of the businesss applications and data Ensure integrity on the data and reports that are used by all groups including Finance and Sales Completely and accurately document IT procedures and procedure changes Create analytical reports forms etc Provide application and business systems support for local and remote users Support the overall network Infrastructure Handle day to day issues with desktop support and end user helpdesk issues General hardware and software troubleshooting and issue resolution Prepare and present written and verbal reports presentations or other materials to management Other duties as required Job Requirements Associate degree in IT programming or computer sciencerelated field required Bachelorrsquos degree preferred Microsoft SQL MCSA or MCSE a plus 3year minimum experience with SQL server Admin and Query Analyzer 5+ years preferred Reporting package experience required SQL Server Report Services preferred Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel required including direct experience with pivot tables and cubesets Intermediate proficiency of Visual Studio required Visual Basicnet httpbasicnet a plus Intermediate knowledge of network topology routers switches TCPIP Knowledge of the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) regulation is preferred General problem solving skills Must have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills SharePoint knowledge website management a plus Travel requirement less than 5 For prompt consideration please submit a ResumeCV and salary requirements Rockwood Pigments is an equal opportunity employer MFDV |
