| GC Services LP is a national organization with over 55 years of quality performance and client service With over 9000 employees in 30+ locations across the country GC Services is one of the largest privately held outsourcing providers of call center management and collection services in North America We are currently seeking a Technical Security Analyst to join our corporate headquarters in Southwest Houston TX The Technical Security Analyst will work with other Security Analysts to implement automated security measures that safeguard information resources against accidental or unauthorized modification destruction or disclosure The position coordinates the development and implementation of automated tools and procedures and coordinates Security Analyst activity as they use these security tools and automated processes The Technical Security Analyst also participates as directed in Security Analyst training ESSENTIAL DUTIES Communicating and implementing data and computer security policies and procedures Setting up automated security tools to facilitate delivery of access within the company environment Queries systems security tools to determine risks and recommend mitigating controls Conferring with System Administrators to incorporate new software security into established security software Developing and implementing tests of computer systems to monitor effectiveness of security Reviewing computer logs and messages to identify and report on possible violations of security Documenting internal investigations of possible security violations Executing security projects as assigned by the GC Services Director of Corporate Security or Manager of Corporate Security and reporting on the status of these as required QUALIFICATIONS College degree in Computer Science Management Information or equivalent required may substitute related work experience Training or experience in project management is essential Technical security background identifying implementing and coordinating use of automated security tools and techniques Five (5) or more years as a technical security implementer or technical security practitioner (certification desirable) Experience working with multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills and people skills are required Familiar with Envision software to include navigation report building and data extraction Must have administrative background on Tripwire to include setup monitoring and analyzing data Knowledge and experience programming with Microsoft Power Shell Scripting software Occasionally subject to irregular hours Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries Will be regularly required to be oncall GC Services LP offers a competitive salary and benefits package including 401(k) and tuition reimbursement EOE MFDV |
