Job Description TheETL/BI Developer role within the Information Technology group is to develop and apply business intelligence and ETL to reports with minimal oversight to improve the efficiency and accuracy of reporting tools available to internal and external users. Remote working during the week will be discussed. Office location is in Rockford, IL with another office closer to the Chicago Area in the near future. Requirements -The ideal candidate should have experience in a healthcare or insurance environment and have a solid understanding of business intelligence applications. -Bachelor's degree in information technology or related subject required. -Experience in ETL development and testing including enhancements, fixes, and regression testing -Experience with ETL processes and data modeling -Familiarity with processes and practices in Business Intelligence -Sound understanding of SQL and ability to relate Model Driven Architecture (MDA) to corresponding SQL in order to investigate problems and extract data when needed -Experience working with business users to define processes and document requirements and issues -2+ years experience with business application development and solutions -Familiarity working with vendor supported applications -Knowledge of healthcare terminology is a plus |
