| Summary Works with Infinium application managers and developer to discover design and maintain business processes Work with iSeries system users and provide maintenance and instructional support Assists and performs required installation configuration maintenance and upgrades on company iSeries servers Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides second level Infinium application and AS400 training and support Performs upgrades and application maintenance on an iSeries system with related business applications Develops and modifies database queries to support business processes Develops business strategies and designs application solutions that support business requirements Plans and documents implementation of business processes and systems Troubleshoots software problems and places service calls with the appropriate maintenance vendors as needed Documents problems or program malfunctions in tracking system and communicate solutions to departmental managers and users Provides ongoing research and development activities of technologies and tools to be used by staff members to streamline process delivery Performs functional evaluations of candidate products Understands the Hotelrsquos general business functions and has an in depth understanding of each unitrsquos activities Provides second level support on server based applications Assists with the training of employees on systems throughout the property Prepares training material for users as appropriate Manages related application and server security Assists Help Desk to maintain monitor and track the companyrsquos inventory of computer hardware and software Performs all other jobrelated tasks as assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill andor ability required Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions EducationExperience Three years of experience supporting iSeries based applications Prior experience with Infinium HCMSHCM applications required Experience supporting Human Resources and Payroll related applications and processes required Database query and maintenance experience with DB2 Query400 command line SQL and related query tools required Prior experience in hospitality environment preferred Language Ability Ability to analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations Write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public Math Ability Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference Apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations Reasoning Ability Define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables Certificates and Licenses IBM Certified Operator ILE programmer or BRMS is a plus Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts high precarious places fumes or airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals outside weather conditions risk of electrical shock and vibration The noise level in the environment is moderate Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to walk sit use hands to finger handle or feel reach with hands and arms and talk or hear The employee is occasionally required to stand climb or balance and stoop kneel crouch or crawl The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds The vision requirements include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus |
