Job Description
| The Senior Information Security Analyst will be responsible for evaluating and supporting all applications systems databases Windows OS and Networks The individual in this role must be competent on all aspects of information technology infrastructure Essential Duties Responsibilities Mentor and collaborate with other team members for the dissemination of information about the database application and system administration Measure evaluate implement troubleshoot and diagnose system security problems and offer solutions including network performance measurement and tuning Manage information security initiatives including log review and analysis systemnetwork security best practices and firewallIDP management Effectively manage multiple and potentially conflicting priorities and workload in a mission critical operations support environment Manage and maintain all servers server operating systems and enterprise application software in the production environment to meet current SLA objectives Evaluate and approve security configuration standards and changes on over 100 Windows servers Coordinate changes in all internet facing firewalls Approve Security Configurations for routers and switches Track vulnerabilities that could affect the environment Monitor security patch levels and virus protection signatures on all servers and workstations Answer questions related to impact of enterprise security regarding changes to operating systems databases or applications Work across multiple groups to assist in identification and mitigation of potential IT risk within the environment Facilitate the operational tasks related to the production of Information Security reports including internal and external trends Required Skills Bachelorrsquos degree required plus a minimum of 6 years experience as a Security Administrator Strong IT acumen and experience applying new technology to improve business processes Application programming skills Strong understanding of system development methodologies and practices Experience in the vulnerability assessment lifecycle from the point of identification to remediation including penetration testing and source code analysis tools Strong technical skills with ability to use statistical analysis algorithm development log correlation etc to effectively identify suspicious and malicious activity CISSP or CISA certification required and knowledge of ISO and NIST security standards Excellent verbal communication presentation organizational and planning skills Able to understand general business concepts and apply them when communicating with diverse groups of people Interpersonal skills to work as a team member and as a liaison with customers Strong attention to detail Strong initiative Available for 24x7 oncall support and monthly service weekend activities Excellent leadership skills Equal Opportunity Employer |
