| Fox News is looking for an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to join its Digital Newsroom team We support Fox Newsrsquo content management (CM) and related systems The successful candidate will be responsible for day to day maintenance and smooth operation of our 100+ servers In addition the candidate will be responsible for maintenanceadministration on our SAN Database (IBM DB2) LTO Tape Archive (IBM Tivoli) and various broadcastspecific systems Prior experience with any of these or any programmingscripting languages is a plus We work in a fastpaced environment and are constantly looking for creative automated solutions to problems and innovative ways of bringing our technology to more and more users The ideal candidate must be excited about technology and willing to learn about new open (and closed) source systems PRIMARY REQUIRED SKILLS The candidate must have relevant Linux experience (Red HatCent OSFedora preferred) ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS Windows Server 20032008 experience Knowledge of AIX Knowledge of MAC OS X DB2 Database administration or support experience Storage Area Network (SAN) w Fiber Channel systems administration or support experience Fox News Network is an EOE |
