| System Quality Assurance Advisor HealthCore a health outcomes research company in the suburban Philadelphia area is seeking an experienced System Quality Assurance Advisor to join teams in our Andover MA Wilmington DE or Alexandria VA office Founded in 1996 and now an independentlyoperating subsidiary of WellPoint HealthCore provides the health care system biopharmaceutical industry academia and the Federal Government with naturalistic realworld research on the value and safety of various interventions in diverse patient populations HealthCores projects range from traditional claimsbased retrospective analyses to largescale prospective studies in the areas of health outcomes pharmacoeconomics comparative effectiveness epidemiologic and drug safety research Responsibilities Provides leadership in the designdevelopment of product testingquality processes and in developing testing architecture Mentors staff in testing and product quality processes Defines appropriate testing methods to employ to assure developed product conforms to requirements and design Plans prepares and executes test assets and executes linkage from test plan to test scenarios and cases Coordinates identifies and executes test cases based on user requirements Analyzes test results and communicates findings recommendations for problem resolution Reviews defects in assessing product quality Defines monitors and collects testingproduct quality data Participates in the transition of software and systems into production environment Performs adhoc queries and data investigations Participates in project lifecycle requirements gathering programming testingtroubleshooting quality assurance and creation of final deliverables Requirements Requires BABS in Computer Science or Information Systems or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background 5 years of testingproduct quality experience Demonstrated proficiency in EITHER Teradata MS SQL OR SAS o SQL skills should include TransactSQL language and experience using MS SQL Server or Teradata SQL Assistant o SAS skills should include Proc SQL and Base SAS data step programming Strong data quality management skills will be handling large volumes of health plan administrative claims data Strong written and oral communication skills Highly developed reasoning and problemsolving skills Self motivated with ability to meet deadlines Ability to plan organize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously and in multidisciplinary teams Experience with administrative health insurance claims data is a plus Requires an understanding of organizational impacts and tradeoffs of quality processes Working at HealthCore In addition to a dynamic work environment HealthCore offers a competitive salary and an outstanding benefits program including a 401(k) plan health dental and vision insurance discounted fitness club membership life ADD short and longterm disability insurance tuition assistance and paid parking HealthCore is headquartered in Wilmington DE midway between New York City and Washington DC with new offices in Andover MA and Alexandria VA As an independently operating subsidiary of WellPoint Inc HealthCore offers the resources of the nations leading health benefits company in a small company environment To learn more about us or apply for a position please visit wwwhealthcorecom EOE Dedicated to Diversity |
