Insurance Claims Auto Appraisal Product group is seeking a senior level professional to manage special projects and process implementation for Auto Physical Damage claims In this role you will be a part of the Personal Insurance Claims Auto Physical Damage (APD) Appraisal Process team and report to the manager of Appraisal Process You will interact with all levels within the Personal Insurance organization to improve results across key performance measures of loss expense customer service and employee satisfaction Responsibilities Manages a team of business analysts working to implement and monitor ongoing process changes and special projects Serves as the primary point of contact for the Appraisal product team shared service departments and the field organization for all special projects process changes and analytical initiatives Coordinates countrywide implementation planning across all teams for Appraisal as lead Project Manager Oversees planning and facilitation of initiatives including business case development rollout planning and ongoing operating process management Researches strategic opportunities to improve appraisal operations through technology and process improvement Presents regularly to Senior Managers on status of initiatives and keeps Senior Managers informed of program direction timelines and renegotiates direction as necessary Conceptualizes immediate and longrange needs of the company with respect to project mission Must understand business objectives as they relate to project goals Negotiates with external agenciesorganizations such as law firms State insurance departments regarding sensitive andor complex issues Prepares periodic written reports for Senior Managers regarding project status and keeps Senior Managers informed of project direction and re negotiates direction as necessary Develops analysis to monitors overall effectiveness of results and ongoing initiatives Identifies sources and relationships of corporate data and makes recommendationsdecisions regarding consolidation and storage of data for access by Senior Managers Travel 15 25 Qualifications Bachelor039s degree required Graduate degree andor CPCU preferred Demonstrated ability to identify analyze solve and implement process improvements in a corporate environment preferably in insurance Exceptional influencing skills to lead projects with participants who are not directly managed by incumbent Experience managing several projects with overlapping scope and time requirements Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools Advanced analytical and problem solving skills Knowledge of quality systems and methodologies Outstanding skill in using a variety of analytical software to facilitate analysis
