| Reporting to the VP of IT Infrastructure, the Manager of Servers, Virtualization and Storage provides Team Leadership for servers and storage and related data center services within the Infrastructure workstream at Parsons Brinckerhoff globally. The principal duties are as follows: Reviews, sets and manages to performance targets, and oversees the efficient management of servers and storage Manage the system engineers to drive standards, efficiencies and service improvements Defines service strategy, design and implementation. Define the service catalogue and supporting OLAs Oversight responsibility for the successful completion of the Enterprise IT Systems Team Tasks such as device installation, steady state maintenance, troubleshooting and remediation activities, hardware maintenance, inventory management and health checks on all Non-Unix/Solaris Server Hardware, system monitoring, server patching, software deployment, maintenance activities (network, storage, etc.), Directory Services support. Provides assistance and empirical data to support hardware and software evaluation, negotiation, purchasing and budgeting. Manages the technical team members to maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on all systems under their responsibility. Manages the daily activities of service request, incident, problem and change management. Technologies used include: Microsoft Active Directory: Windows Server 2012, 2008, 2003 NetApp, EMC, HP 3PAR, Dell/Compellent storage platforms Microsoft Identity Lifecycle Manager (Forefront Identity Manager) Virtualization technologies of Microsoft Hyper-V and VMWare Microsoft Unified Access Gateway and Threat Management Gateway. F5 LTM, Reverse Proxy, GTM appliances Microsoft Systems Center Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT. At least ten years’ experience in the assigned area in a Windows Server, Virtualization, Storage environment. At least three years of that experience in a similar leadership role. Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional, Windows Server ITIL Foundation certification. Experience working in a large scale complex infrastructure utilizing the Microsoft BackOffice suite. Experience in project delivery, delivering solutions against plans, within time and budget.
