| Programmer AnalystNET IT Department of Alameda County is looking for the NET developers to join our team Three or more years of experience with ASPNET VBNETC AJAX and relational databases (SQL Server andor DB2) is essential We are developing new and supporting existing enterprise level applications for the Alameda County agencies ITD offers a wellbalanced stable dynamic work environment career growth opportunities competitive salary and an outstanding benefit package Salary 76440 9189440 annually Job Duties and Requirements Work with Project Lead and end users to define business requirements and create proposed solutions Analyze application tasks assigned by a Project Lead and create estimates for each task Design logical structure of application programs and develop program specifications andor prototypes Code test document and implement application programs web sites and web services Work with Project Lead and DBA team to model new databases and provide modifications to existing databases triggers and stored procedures Monitor and maintain existing production systems Provide enhancements and bug fixes to existing systems Participate in design and code reviews Communicate with managers peers and customers in a team environment to achieve results Technical Requirements You must have the following skills Development of ASPNet VBNET web applications and web services Development of VBNet batch programs Database programming Data Modeling and Design SQL development (SQL Server or DB2 preferred) including stored procedures and triggers Javascript AJAX development Production support troubleshooting and end user support Data Gathering and Analysis Report Writing and production of adhoc reports for end users VBNET experience is preferred but C will suffice In addition the following skills would be an advantage Development of Windows Services dSeries batch scheduling SQL Server Reporting Services Server (SSRS) PowerBuilder Development Contact Us Robert Thiell EMail robertthiellacgovorg mailtorobertthiellacgovorg 1106 Madison Street Room 336 Oakland CA 94607 |
