|Organizational ObjectivePurpose As part of the Sales Service IT org at Schwab the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team provides technology based solutions across Schwab Enterprise to our Financial Consultants Reps and Advisors which enables them to be more productive and effective with our clients We do this by designing developing and implementing bestofbreed CRM transactional (MARS Lynx) and Analytics (SABI) solutions based on Siebel CRM Oracle BI and Salesforcecom Using rapid development methodologies we implement Enterprise wide CRM best practices functionality and processes in partnership with our Business enterprises to meet our strategic Business and technical objectives Brief Description of Role Primary responsibilities of a QA Engineer are bull Influence and help build QA best practices in Financial Service CRM Platform bull Develop expertise in the featuresproduct areas owned by yourest of team bull Ensure test planning execution and reporting is effective efficient standardized coordinated and integrated bull Ability to run batch using Unix writing and creating complex SQL statements to ensure Data Integrity bull Strong interpersonal analytical excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills necessary bull Communicate test progress test results and other relevant information to project team bull Provide and meet time estimates for assigned deliverables Establish priorities and coordinate activities ensuring business requirements are met bull Ensure that software releases provide an exceptional user experience and are high in quality TechnicalFunctional Qualifications bull 8+ years in software Quality Assurance bull 5 years experience in Unix application QA bull 5 years experience in performance testing bull Familiarity with formal test tools like HP Quality Center IBM Rational Clear Quest for defect tracking and Automation tools like QTPBPT (preferably) Silk WinRunner and Toad or PL SQL Putty etc are highly desirable bull Experience working in geographically and culturally diverse development teams bull Experience converting business use cases and system requirements into detailed test cases bull Experience writing executing and analyzing performance test cases bull Familiarity with multiple performance testing tools highly desirable bull Preferable experience with end to end testing programs bull Experience testing CTI interface and Outlook integration with CRM system a plus bull Preferred 2+ years experience working with CRMSalesforce (Sales or Service Cloud) ie o Understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies used in Salesforcecom bull Exposure to Apex test framework is a plus bull Experience in backend integration testing between CRM and Salesforce platform is a plus bull Experience with general admin configuration changes on the SFDC platform bull Experience using SFDC SOQL Explorer SFDC Data Loader tool bull Proficiency with writing and executing SOQL scripts bull Proficiency with testing web services using SOAP tools bull Preferred knowledge of software development methodologies such as RUP Agile and Scrum bull Quick learner with good communication and documentation skills bull Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast paced high energetic environment bull Bachelors degree in ComputerInformation Science (or equivalent)|
