The Information Technology Manager will align technology priorities with business strategy to achieve corporate goals. This individual will implement new systems capabilities as well as enhance and maintain existing technology platforms. Specifically, the Manager will: Direct the completion of major information technology projects on time and within budget Manage IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling and evaluation Manage relationships with third party vendors to achieve firm-wide objectives Be aware of technology trends specific to asset management Oversee evaluation of third party applications, develop business case to justify new purchases and review hardware and software acquisitions Evaluate and improve firm's technology standards Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Master's degree preferred. 7 or more years of experience managing technology operations required 3 or more years of experience in asset management preferred Experience in managing all phases of the systems development life cycle including scope development, costing, project planning, execution, implementation and ongoing support Demonstrated ability to build and lead high performing teams Knowledge of and experience in enterprise data management systems Extensive knowledge of system security, networking, databases, and disaster recovery Strong background in successfully implementing third party applications, preferably in the financial services industry Experience with .Net, SQL, and SharePoint technologies preferred Understanding and prior use of standardized project management methodologies Proven leadership abilities Excellent oral and written communication skills NISA Investment Advisors, L.L.C. is an equal opportunity employer.
