Responsibilities: · Provisioning new ports · Bringing up new switches · Changing VLANs · Assigning IP space · Creating security policies and exceptions Documentation · Contributing to standards and procedures Software upgrades Working with bandwidth providers on any issues · Helping the systems team troubleshoot connectivity issues (Unix environment) · Troubleshooting physical media issues Required Skills: · At least 2 years experience with JunOS 10.x and higher · EX series switches, MX routers and SRX security devices Chassis Cluster and Virtual Chassis experience a plus Spanning tree 802.3ad Link Aggregation LACP VLAN trunking IKE/IPSEC Static routing OSPF experience a plus · IPv6 experience a plus · BGP experience a plus · Ability to think and operate under pressure · Must be extremely familiar with Unix/Linux networking · Strong documentation skills Being able to explain things in layman terms · Experience with Netscaler Load Balancing Monitoring experience (alerting, graphing, trends) Packet analysis and traffic inspection Substantial experience in some of the following areas: Security Standards Development, Technology Service Development, Information Classification Modeling, Risk Management, Incident Handling and Response, Program Management, and Budget Forecasting. |
