Job Description

Technical Support Engineer LiveRail is seeking a talented, self-motivated Technical Support Engineer to join our Client Services team. As a Support Engineer, you should possess excellent technical, communication and organizational skills. You will work with sales, account management and product teams to support the success of LiveRail products within client organizations. You will manage an important base of customers, providing solutions to challenging technical issues including initial deployment and on-going optimization of LiveRail implementations. You will also build customer-facing operations, define client needs and work with product and engineering teams to improve the overall product experience. Responsibilities: Establish relationships with LiveRail clients by understanding their business objectives Develop innovative technical solutions to address on-going client requirements Develop and implement processes and infrastructure to scale customer-operations Introduce new LiveRail products and features to clients and educate on best practices Serve as primary point of escalation for account management teams leveraging strong front-end and back-end knowledge including: Reporting and analytics support Media management Creative management Tags Ancillary tools Customer targeting API/web services support Compose and communicate information about technical issues, solutions, and other broad technical communication Escalate bugs and product enhancement requests to product management Actively track and manage activities within CRM system Interact on regular basis with Technical Account Management, Sales and other internal groups regarding client support and issue resolution Be available for rotating ‘on call’ after-hours client support emergencies as needed Qualifications: 2-4 years of technical support or related experience Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks Working knowledge of web and related technologies including Flash, Javascript, PHP, HTTP, cookies/sessions, XML/XSLT/XHTML/HTML, REST, SAML, SOAP, etc. Understanding of online video concepts strongly desired (Players, codecs, content management and delivery) Understanding of the online video and online advertising markets a plus Bachelor’s degree required What we do: LiveRail is the leading publisher monetization platform for video.
