It includes Business Development Services, Corporate Market Strategy and Communications, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Information Technology and Public Affairs. Position Purpose: As an Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Technical Architect, you will participate in the full lifecycle of an OTM project to deliver a complex, comprehensive business solution. In this role, you will help to define and justify the business case, develop implementation plans, provide expert technical, functional and product recommendations and manage client expectations. In addition, you will interpret requirements data, map current and future state business processes, and develop plans to address functional gaps between the packaged application and the redesigned processes. This position is a blend of 70% OTM technical and 30% OTM functional skills. Come in and lead the final phase of a 5.5 to 6.0 upgrade. Be responsible for performance tuning and successful implementation. Contribute by being part of the strategic road map planning for the next phases of OTM. Required (Basic) Experience & Education: 7 or more years of Oracle Transportation Management experience with the following OTM modules: Transportation Order Management, Rate Management, Shipment Management, Planning, Sourcing & Routing, Booking & Tendering, Freight Payment, Billing & Claims, Reporting. - Direct experience with OTM version 6.2.x - Participation in at least 3 significant OTM project efforts from initiation through close. - OTM Installation and server configurations - OTM Domain design - OTM Performance tuning and stress testing - OTM Workflow design and setup - OTM Customizations - OTM Agents, stored procedures and complex SQL and Java development - OTM Custom integration and interface development - Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience. - Strong understanding of industry best practices (ITIL, SDLC, etc.). Required Competencies & Other Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work on cross-functional project teams. Experience with gathering and documenting business/technical requirements, structured analysis, creating process & data flows, developing test plans, executing testing, estimation and SDLC methodologies. Preferred Experience & Education: Direct experience with all of the following Oracle Transportation modules: Fleet Management, Fusion Transportation Intelligence (FTI), Global Trade Management (GTM). Preferred Competencies & Other Skills: SQL, Visio, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office tools.
