Job Description
| BW/Business Objects Lead Lead a team of BW technical and functional analysts. Provide level-3 SAP BI/BW support to the business units. Recommend new solutions. Work with the Business Relationship Management, Architecture and Sustaining and Support teams delivering projects from ideas to implementation and support. Drive best practices in requirements gathering and documentation of new/existing BW/BI RICEFs. Provide knowledge transfer/support/assistance to the Applications Sustain and Support team. Develop functional/technical specifications and other documentation, as needed for audit purposes. Design reporting/dashboard solutions in the SAP BI/BW space. Recommend technical and process standards. Work with the Web Applications/Middleware team in integration projects, SAP Business Objects 3.1, global full-life cycle implementation with Go-Live support, SAP BI performance optimization tools, and integrate BI with other SAP tools/components such as BPC, CRM, EP 6.0/7.0. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Business or Logistics and at least 5 years of progressive experience in BI/BW. Experience with SAP Business Objects 3.1; Minimum 2 global full-life cycle implementations with Go-Live support; SAP BI performance optimization tools; integrating BI with other SAP tools/components such as BPC, CRM, EP 6.0/7.0 Experience in a people management role.
