ABOUT US Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT) covers the entire value chain from long-term research to final delivery of complete vehicles for production to the Volvo Group truck business as well as supporting the products in the aftermarket. GTT plays a vital role in contributing to the profitability, by providing competitive brand unique products that are based on common architecture and shared technology. The Electrical Engineering North America delivers complete electrical systems solutions in the areas of wiring, packaging, embedded software and systems architecture. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead cross functional teams to deliver electrical engineering solutions for maintenance and start cost projects. Will be accountable for all aspects of the project and for the consequences of actions taken within his/her area of responsibility Ensures that the deliverables from the Vehicle Electrical Engineering departments meet agreed upon QDCF (Quality, Delivery, Product/ Project Cost, and Feature) targets for affected start cost projects and PMR activities. Works directly with the resource owners within the line organization to define the deliverables from their respective groups and secures the necessary resources to achieve agreed upon objectives, supplies budget estimates as requested. Works with counterparts from manufacturing, aftermarket, sales, and purchasing to ensure that projects are properly coordinated. Periodically and objectively report the status of all activities within the start cost projects and/or PMRs.
