| Business Financial Services ndash Information Technology This position is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a team focused on the development and support of internally developed and third party applications The position will be responsible for performing duties covering the full software development life cycle including initial requirements gathering programmingcoding testing training support and documentation for inhouse and installed vendorcommercial applications Provide maintenance enhancements and enduser support for existing applications Work with staff to define needs and requirements create a process analysis document and take the project through the rest of the software lifecycle Work closely with other members of the Facilities Management IT group to provide uniform application development and data interfaces for Facilities Managements clientserver and web applications Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science or Arts in Computer Science or Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience 35 years experience developing application solutions using Java JavaScript PHP or Net Some experience with databases including stored procedures functions and triggers Excellent technical and written and verbal communication skills Desired Qualifications Some experience developing solutions using VBScript ASP and HTML Considerable experience with Oracle Database and or MS SQL server Reasonable experience with components of Microsoftbased Web architecture including Windows Server and IIS Reasonable experience with SSRS Some experience with SDLC and project management especially as relates to application development Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications including an excellent benefit package To apply for this position visit our website at httpjobsuiowaedu httpjobsuiowaedu and reference requisition 62116 The University of Iowa is an affirmative actionequal opportunity employer women and minorities are encouraged to apply |
