Financial Applications Developer:
A prominent Boston based bank is seeking an established Java Developer. The Java Applications Developer will work as part of the technical team on all phases of the design, development, and implementation of financial applications supporting national business functions. This is a great opportunity for a Java professional to join a team looking to double their headcount over the course of the next year in anticipation of taking on multiple new projects. The Java Applications Developer should have a solid understanding of application run time environments and application build and deployment techniques. This includes a basic understanding of the Unix environment and commands, as well as an understanding of web server and application server configurations. The proper candidate should be able to work well as part of an established team and during times takes on a lead role in some aspects of the application development. The candidate should also be prepared to work in an innovative evolving environment and be able to present alternative ideas for application development.
Java Applications Developer:
- 5 years of job related experience in the computer engineering field.
- Familiarity with Weblogic, Oracle, SQL, JMS, Unix, and/or Windows platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of and ability to efficiently write J2EE programs required.
- US Citizenship required.
