Develop a semantic model for the reference data used by the Futures & Options and OTC Clearing businesses.
This will be achieved through fact-finding interviews and analysis with business and operations teams.
Able to review the current physical databases and code artifacts (SQL, Java) to understand current data usage.
Guide application development teams to ensure the new data architecture is understood and used correctly
Qualifications
Required:Data AnalysisData ModelingExpert with MS ExcelExperience documenting data model in both graphical and textual formsComfortable reading Java and SQL languages to determine how data elements are usedStrong communicator able to explain rationale for decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to define and develop data analysis utilities using Java
Desired:Fact Based analysis documenting in Object Role Modeling or similar, e.g. UML class diagramsExperienced with developing physical data models from conceptual/semantic modelsExperience defining master data architectures and recommending "golden sources" of dataExperience with documenting semantic models and defining taxonomies in OWL and querying models in SPARQL or Linked Data APIExperience with process modeling for "As Is" and "To Be" system flows to support business processes
