Its portfolio includes converged network adapters, ethernet adapters, fibre channel adapters and switches and iSCSI adapters and routers. QLogic also makes infiniBand switches and adapters for the high performance computing market.

Customers include Cisco Systems Inc., NetApp Inc. and Oracle Corp. Based in Aliso Viejo, Calif., the company also has operations in Europe and Asia.

QLogic Corp. has been rumored on and off to be a takeover target.

Culture

The company hosts a summer picnic, which in the past has featured elephant rides and an exotic animal show. Perks include on-site catered breakfast and lunch, car washes and dry cleaning pick up services.
