Intuit has long ranked in Fortune magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For. Among its perks: employee opportunities to telecommute and a $65 daily subsidy for in-home care when a child is sick or school is closed. In 2009, Fortune cited Intuit’s green initiatives, such as handing employees mass-transit subsidies of up to $100 per month and banning plastic water bottles from its camuses.
Intuit is heavily involved in philanthropy through the Intuit Foundation and it offers employees paid time off to volunteer.
